Karate BC is recognized as the sport governing body for Karate in BC, Canada. It is the path for athletes to national and international competitions in the WKF (World Karate Federation, the sport governing body recognized by the IOC for karate to the Olympics). See the Karate BC website for information on events, and pathways to becoming a coach/official or member of the BC Team representing the province at annual National Championships.
Karate Canada hosts our sports annual National Championship in various locations across the country.
